SWRP-AoD Backstory

The year is 60 S.S.R. (Since Sith Rule), about 75 years after the end of the Clone Wars. With Chancellor Palpatine betraying the Jedi Order and the Republic and forming the Empire, a new age of Darkness rose over the galaxy. The Jedi were all but wiped out until about ten years after when the last remnants of the Jedi Order were wiped from existence. About five years after that event, Palpatine removed the rule of two, allowing for the Sith to once again return to the days of the Sith Empire. Although displeased with this decision, Lord Vader remained silent and faithful to his Master. Soon after this decision was made and the Imperial Infrastructure was being revamped to fit that of the Sith Empire, The Kaminoans made their move. Unwilling to serve the Sith Empire, many, but not all of the Kaminoan cloners decided to rebel. Due to the current inability to act, the Sith Empire took a major blow until Lord Vader "volunteered" to take action. He took the 501st Legion and wiped out all rebel Kaminoans and against his better judgement, spared the loyalists due to the Emperor's request. After another ten years, The Sith Order was nearly restored to it's former glory, Lord Vader held a seat on the Dark Council and Lord Sidious ruled over the Sith Empire as Emperor. Although, Lord Vader, who was already displeased with the revocation for the rule of two and the mercy shown to the Kaminoans, decided to make his own move. He went to Lord Sidious's chambers and challenged him for the right of Emperor. Lord Vader ultimately lost, Sidious being still much more powerful. Although the encounter did heavily weaken Lord Sidious. Paving the way for the current Emperor to take his place. No one outside of the Counsel has seen the current Emperor, nor does he seem to want to change that. For the next 48 years, the Sith Empire remained in an uneasy peace. Oppressing Aliens and bolstering their strength once more. Although for the past two years, things have begun to change. The Dark council and Sith Order are beginning to turn upon one another. While no official moves have been made, the Empire now lies in a very unstable peace, intrigue, mistrust, and heresy lies with the Sith Order. Some Sith feel as if they should start their own factions, while others believe that the way of light is true, while others feel that they should strive for the seat of the Emperor, while some are not that ambitious and would rather keep the current status quo. You are now thrown into this galaxy, but who are you and what will you choose? Will you be an Imperial Officer underneath one of the Sith Lords or Sith Council Members? Or will you be a member of the Sith order, joining the struggle and vie for power? Or perhaps you will be more or less unrelated, like a mercenary or a member of a planetary government?
